Position Summary: The Real Property and Facilities Management Intern will support the Director in managing and maintaining the organization's real estate assets, facilities operations, and capital improvement projects. This internship offers a hands-on learning experience in property management, space planning, vendor coordination, and sustainability initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining and updating property records, lease agreements, and asset inventories Support the coordination of routine maintenance and repair activities across facilities Help analyze space utilization and assist with space planning and allocation projects Conduct research on industry best practices related to facilities management and real estate Aid in the preparation of reports, budgets, and presentations for senior leadership Collaborate with vendors and contractors on service delivery and performance tracking Participate in site inspections and document compliance with safety and regulatory standards Assist in planning and coordinating office moves, renovations, or sustainability projects Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, document filing, and data entry as needed Minimum Job Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Architecture, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CAD or space planning software is a plus Interest in facilities operations, project management, and real property administration Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional setting Benefits of the Internship: Gain practical experience in real estate and facilities management Exposure to capital project planning and building operations Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and industry professionals Develop skills in property administration, sustainability planning, and facility operations Bilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.
