Student Care Teacher / After-School Care Teacher

Responsibilities

• Coach and guide Primary 1 to Primary 6 students in English, Mathematics, Science, and Chinese.
• Assist students with homework, spelling, revision, and school assignments.
• Be familiar with the MOE primary school syllabus and able to support students across different levels.
• Supervise students during study time, rest time, meals, and activities.
• Help prepare and serve lunch and tea break for students.
• Pick students up from nearby schools when required.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, positive, and conducive learning environment.
• Manage students' behaviour with patience, firmness, and care.
• Act as a positive role model and help students develop good habits, responsibility, and respect for others.
• Communicate with parents and colleagues when needed regarding students' progress, behaviour, or wellbeing.
• Assist with general centre duties and daily operations where required.

Requirements

• Passionate about working with children.
• Patient, responsible, caring, and able to manage primary school students well.
• Able to coach Primary 1 to Primary 6 students in English, Mathematics, Science, and Chinese.
• Familiarity with the MOE primary school syllabus is preferred.
• Prior experience in student care, tuition, childcare, teaching, or education-related work will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Working Hours
• Monday to Friday: 1.00pm to 5.30pm
• During school holidays, the teacher may be required to work the morning shift from 8.00am to 12.30pm.

Additional Information

We are looking for a responsible and caring Student Care Teacher to join our learning centre. The teacher will support Primary 1 to Primary 6 students in their daily after-school routine, academic work, and character development.
