About the role

The Washington State University (WSU) Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences (VCS) in the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) seeks to fill a full-time open rank (assistant professor/associate professor/professor) continuous career track faculty position in Agricultural Animal Field Service. Veterinarians with agricultural animal clinical experience are encouraged to apply - residency training is not required. The successful applicant will join a dedicated team of faculty and staff focused on multiple aspects of agricultural animal health including in-hospital and ambulatory clinical service, clinical and preclinical teaching, production/population medicine, extension, and research/scholarship. Salary range is $145,000 - $165,000 per year. Our Agricultural Animal Service provides in-hospital and ambulatory clinical services and operates out of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) in Pullman, Washington. Our VTH is the leading referral center in the state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest with over 20,000 patient visits per year, aspiring to be the country's best academic veterinary hospital for patients, students, clients, colleagues, and community. The joint mission of the VTH and VCS is to improve the health and well-being of all animals through excellence in medical care, training future veterinarians, and finding innovative ways to diagnose and treat disease. Dedicated to this vision and mission are more than 60 full-time faculty members and 170 staff and house officers.
