Roles & Responsibilities ob Description & Requirements Job Description: - Report to the Project Manager - Overall in charge of site coordination. - Lead a team of operation staff in daily operations. - Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project. - Monitor and control the general workers' deployment on-site. - Maintain and manage site storage areas for building materials and equipment. - Maintain site access throughout the construction period. - Planning ahead to prevent the problem on-site before it occurs, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials. - Ensure progress of work is within budget and timelines as well as quality and safety objectives. - Control and monitor work progress and resources. - Monitor and control material wastage. - In-depth understanding of project specifications, technical details, and construction drawings. - Carry out work scheduling, material requisition planning, project coordination, and documentation. - Ensure timely completion and good quality of works & carried out safely and WSHE regulations are complied with. - Provide proper guidance and training to junior staff. - Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management. Job Requirement: Proven experience as Site Manager In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards Outstanding communications and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities Advances time management and analytical skills Excellent client-facing communication skills Candidate must pass at least Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Diploma holders or equivalent with relevant experience BSc/BA in Engineering (Civil) or Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or relevant field (Degree is recognized by BCA will be an advantage) 3 years' experience in Site Management
