Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing Support
- Execute end ‑ to ‑ end payroll processing in coordination with local payroll vendors (if relevant) and systems.
- Validate payroll inputs including earnings, deductions, time entries, absences, and one ‑ time payments.
- Reconcile payroll outputs and support retro payments, off ‑ cycle payrolls, and corrections.

- Coordinate with local benefits vendors and insurers as applicable to resolve eligibility, coverage, and contribution issues as relevant .
- Maintain benefits data accuracy in relevant systems or with vendors
- Support benefits compliance activities and renewal cycles where applicable.
- Keep contact with relevant local authorities as required.
- Time Management & Absence (as relevant in line with agreed country scope)
- Support time and attendance processing, including validations, corrections, and retro adjustments.
- Resolve time ‑ related inquiries tied to payroll outcomes.
- Ensure time configurations and inputs align with local working time regulations , collective agreement s and public holidays
- Keep contact with relevant local authorities as required.
- Leave of Absence (LOA) (as relevant in line with agreed country scope)
- Process and administer statutory and company leave programs (e.g., sickness, parental, disability, unpaid leave).
- Coordinate LOA impact on pay, benefits, and time tracking.
- Ensure accurate LOA documentation and tracking in Workday .
- Case Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for Tier 1, resolve Tier 2 inquiries payroll, time, benefit questions
- Partner with Country HR, People Support, Payroll Vendors, HRIS, and Benefits CoE as needed.
- Document actions and decisions clearly and escalate risks appropriately.
- Deliver timely and accurate support and execution in the Case tool and in accordance with the SLA framework for the team
- Vendor Coordination (as relevant in line with agreed country scope)
- Communicate with payroll /time system/benefits vendors to submit data, track processing status, and resolve routine issues.
- Support documentation and follow-up for vendor-related service tickets.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure payroll documentation is complete, accurate , and audit ready .
- Follow established procedures to maintain compliance with local, state etc. regulations.
- Support digital personnel file standards for payroll related documents
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements including tax filings, social security, and labor laws as required .
- Support year-end activities (e.g., tax forms, reconciliations, filings) .
- Monitor payroll controls, variance analysis, and exception reporting as required .
- Payroll Reporting & Analytics
- Generate and validate payroll reports ( e.g. gross-to-net, variance, headcount, cost reports etc ).
- Perform trend analysis and identify discrepancies or anomalies.
- Support finance and HR with payroll-related data requests.
- Assist in month-end and year-end reconciliations with Finance.
- System and Data Governance
- Ensure data accuracy in payroll, and time systems.
- Support system testing (UAT), enhancements, and implementations.
- Maintain audit trails.
- Continuous Improvement
- Partner closely with Country HR, Global People Support, HRIS, and vendors to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to SOPs, help articles, and localization updates for payroll, time management and benefits processes.
- Support process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization.
- Maintain audit ‑ ready documentation and support internal/external audits.
- Flag compliance risks, process gaps, or recurring issues to regional People Services leadership.
Requirements
- L ocal qualifications in payroll or equivalent experience in Accounting, Payroll, or related field. Bachelor's degree in human resources or local payroll qualification r elated field preferred .
- Minimum 3-5 years of payroll experience.
- Experience with payroll /time/benefit systems.
- Experience with payroll controls
- Working knowledge of country payroll, time, tax, social securit
