Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Job Description: The Graduate Assistant for Student Organizations Support will work directly with the Assistant Director for Student Engagement & Development in the Office of Student Engagement & Development (SED) to provide support for registered student organizations, the advising of new student organizations, and the Student Programming Board. The Graduate Assistant for Student Organizations Support is a member of the Student Engagement & Development team and has shared responsibility for the achievement of departmental goals and assessment. ● Direct advising of new student organizations at Trinity. ● Support and assist in the development and execution of student programs hosted by the Student Programming Board. ● Facilitate leadership programming events and workshops for student organization officers that are aligned with SED mission and objectives. ● Assist with the execution of departmental assessment initiatives. ● Performs other duties as required. Required Education ● A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education before start date. ● Enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution. Required Qualifications ● Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills. ● Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. ● Strong creative and problem-solving skills. ● Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills. ● Willingness to work with diverse populations. ● Ability to maintain an appropriate degree of confidentiality. ● Use and knowledge of computer, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite programs. ● Use and knowledge of social media platforms and tools (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest)
