AECOM is currently seeking a Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead to support the Latin American region. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Business Development Lead the identification, maturation, and capture of new business opportunities in the critical infrastructure sector (ports, airports, and logistics hubs) in Latin America, translating complex client needs into technical cybersecurity and physical security (IT/OT) proposals. Act as AECOM's technical point of contact in the region for cargo transport security solutions, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and technology partners within the logistics ecosystem. IT (Information Technology) Traditional IT systems: Corporate networks (LAN/WAN) Servers and databases Enterprise systems (ERP, email, cloud) Information management Define comprehensive security architectures for complex environments (IT/OT). OT (Operational Technology) Systems that control physical processes and infrastructure: Industrial systems (SCADA, PLC) Automation of ports, airports, trains Traffic control systems, cranes, conveyor belts, power systems Physical security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.) Core Responsibilities Establish and validate technical criteria, specifications, and standards for security projects. Prepare technical documents and specifications for procurement processes. Participate in the development and implementation of security-related information systems. Manage and analyze logs in high-volume, highly complex environments. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders. Evaluate emerging technologies and their applicability to security projects. Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices. Design, develop, and implement physical security and cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure. Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience and/or academic training. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in security and/or cybersecurity within operations or business development for critical infrastructure (ports, airports, and logistics hubs). Project Track Record: Experience in at least 2 projects involving participation in: Design and deployment of infrastructure as well as security and cybersecurity solutions in critical infrastructure operations (ports, airports, and logistics hubs). Implementation or management of monitoring and log management systems in complex environments. Project development and/or information systems. Knowledge Base: Security architectures (IT/OT, networks, surveillance systems, access control, etc.). International security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC, among others). Critical infrastructure protection technologies. Skills: Ability to develop technical specifications and procurement documents. Language: Advanced English (spoken and written). Preferred Requirements Specialization or certifications in cybersecurity or information security is highly desirable. Experience in passenger and/or cargo operation environments is preferred.
