Supervisory Aerospace Engineer

About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY AEROSPACE ENGINEER (PROPULSION AND POWER SITE LEADER) in the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST, FLEET SUPPORT TEAM DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties:1) Leading and managing efforts on major in-service engineering projects; 2) Influencing leadership and program direction through briefs and meetings; 3) Planning and managing team personnel, funding, and other resources; 4) Providing a range of technical services and products covering in-service propulsion engineering; 5) Leading teams to develop engineering solutions for which no existing answers exist; 6) Mentoring, coaching and training junior and journeyman employees.
