Job Title: Social Worker - MASH Team Location : Stockport Rate : £38 per hour An exciting job role has recently become available for an experienced Social Worker to join a MASH team based in Stockport. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will respond to contacts received from partners and families. You will consider the information received and speak to referrers, partner agencies, and family members in a timely way to identify the most appropriate support for a family. You will complete MASH enquiries, triaging, and MASH assessments in accordance with agreed and statutory timeframes. You will identify and secure the most appropriate service to support and safeguard children and families, keeping accurate and timely records in line with local and statutory requirements. Ensuring that service user views and the voice of the child are incorporated into all your work is essential. You will work dynamically within Stockport Family and with partners to identify pathways for support for children and families, using strengths-based principles. You will be a champion for Stockport Family and the principles of restorative approaches, quality conversations, collaboration, and minimal points of transfer. Additionally, you will be effective in identifying the need to initiate Section 47 child protection investigations.
