Essential Duties Lead a growing team of DevOps and Automation Engineers, providing mentorship, career development, and performance guidance. Define and execute the DevOps roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams including TechOps, Engineering, QA, and Regulatory. Serve as a liaison between technical implementation teams and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure strategy aligns with broader product goals. Oversee automated infrastructure management using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation across AWS and hybrid environments. Ensure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery for cloud-native deployments. Champion Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps best practices across the team. Lead improvements to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and enable frequent, reliable, and secure software delivery. Collaborate with Engineering and QA to support release automation, rollback strategies, and zero-downtime deployments. Ensure infrastructure and operations meet the needs of regulated software under HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304. Lead initiatives around security automation, access controls, and audit readiness in partnership with InfoSec and Quality teams. Drive observability, incident response, and system reliability improvements using Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk, and similar tools. Support cost optimization and resource efficiency efforts in cloud environments.
