About the role

About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Workshop, Calibration & Testing Technician to join our friendly team in Redhill. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for assembling, calibrating, testing, repairing and preparing our industry-leading environmental monitoring equipment for customers around the world. Working as part of our Workshop team, you'll play a key role in ensuring every product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability and performance. Main Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electrical products to engineering drawings and specifications. Calibrate products and maintain accurate calibration records. Test PCB assemblies, sub-assemblies and finished products to approved procedures. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on products and electronic assemblies. Complete fault finding and support root cause investigations. Pack finished products safely and accurately for customer dispatch. Maintain accurate production, calibration and testing documentation using our ERP/MRP system. Support quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with ISO9001 procedures. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in products and workshop processes. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Customer Support teams. Participate in training and continuously develop technical knowledge and skills. The Person We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work. You'll be a proactive team player who enjoys solving technical problems and is comfortable working both independently and alongside colleagues. Ideally, you'll have experience in mechanical or electronic assembly, calibration or testing within a manufacturing or engineering environment, together with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to delivering excellent results every time.
