Requirements

• Experience working in quality, safety, or assurance roles within regulated environments
• Background in aviation, ATM, or safety-critical systems is advantageous
• Experience with audits, management systems, or safety assurance activities
• Familiarity with safety assessment processes or safety cases is beneficial
• Required skills:
• Good understanding of safety assurance and risk management principles
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage documentation and work in a process-driven environment
• Fluent in English
• The location is flexible between Gothenburg, Växjö, and Apeldoorn. Travel between these locations may also be required.
• This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Your role As a Quality & Safety Specialist, you will play a central role in developing, maintaining, and improving our Quality and Safety Management System in the development of Air Traffic Management (ATM) equipment and solutions. The role combines quality assurance, safety assurance, and compliance, with a strong focus on ensuring that both processes and deliverables meet defined standards, regulatory requirements, and performance expectations. You will contribute to building robust, efficient, and well-governed ways of working, ensuring that quality and safety are systematically integrated throughout the development lifecycle. Working in a highly regulated environment, you will support compliance with applicable standards, acting as a key contributor within assurance, audits, and continuous improvement activities. The position requires a structured and analytical mindset, with the ability to influence teams and strengthen a culture where quality and safety are embedded in everyday operations.
