Site Engineer, Civil

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on, delivery-focused Site Engineer - Civil to support the execution of civil packages across the CELN project. Based across sites in Perth's northern corridor (Padbury to Wangara), you will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme-particularly in environments involving live services and traffic management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil works packages including trenching, duct installation, reinstatement, and associated underground works
• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and resources to ensure works are completed safely and on schedule
• Manage works around live utilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and permit requirements
• Support traffic management planning and execution in live environments
• Monitor progress and productivity, identifying and resolving site issues proactively
• Maintain strong communication with supervisors, engineers, and project teams across multiple work fronts
• Uphold ACCIONA's safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times
• Required Skills and Competencies
• Required Skills & Experience
• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
• Proven site-based experience in civil construction (utilities highly regarded)
• Strong experience with underground services and trenching works
• Demonstrated experience working around live services and traffic management environments
• Practical, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to drive outcomes on site
• Strong coordination and communication skills in dynamic construction environments
• Ability to work across multiple packages and adapt to changing site priorities
