Position Summary Comfort Systems USA - Mid South is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC VRV/VRF Service Technician to support the service, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of advanced variable refrigerant volume/flow systems in commercial environments. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while delivering high‑quality customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial VRV/VRF HVAC systems Perform preventative maintenance and corrective service on VRV/VRF equipment and related components Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, controls, airflow, and communication faults Utilize manufacturer‑specific software, diagnostic tools, and test equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals Document service activities, repairs, and recommendations accurately Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and internal teams Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, EPA regulations, and company policies Support system startups, system optimization, and performance verification Represent Comfort Systems USA - Mid South with professionalism and integrity at all job sites Required Qualifications 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience Demonstrated experience working on VRV/VRF systems (Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Samsung, or similar) Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills EPA Universal Certification required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently Strong written and verbal communication skills
