Carnegie Mellon University's Division of Enrollment Management is seeking an Enrollment Communications Project Manager to develop and execute communication strategies for prospective, incoming, and enrolled students and their families. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and content development skills, experience managing multi-channel communications and the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across Enrollment Management and the university. Reporting to the Associate Director of Communication and Content Strategy, the Enrollment Communications Project Manager develops and implements a wide range of communications that support recruitment, enrollment and student success initiatives across the Division of Enrollment Management. This role is responsible for determining messaging strategies, selecting and managing communication channels, ensuring alignment with university brand standards and evaluating communication effectiveness through analytics and reporting. This role collaborates closely with colleagues across Enrollment Management and the broader university to plan and execute communication projects from concept through implementation. From creating email drip campaigns to developing website content, the manager must be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, effective project coordination skills and the ability to translate the university's value proposition into compelling, student-centered communications while communicating complex enrollment processes in a clear, audience-focused manner. Core responsibilities include: Collaborate with Enrollment Management colleagues, as well as marketing and communications teams across the university, to implement multi-channel communications in support of various Enrollment Management initiatives, including admission, financial aid, study abroad, course registration, billing and payments, and more. Create and distribute email communications for a variety of audiences, including prospective students, applicants, admitted students, enrolled students, families, faculty and staff. Draft, edit and maintain content for print and digital materials, including guides, forms, presentations, fact sheets and related communications. Maintain Enrollment Management departmental websites, including content writing, editing, organization and page layout updates. Collaborate with student ambassadors to create engaging storytelling content for print and digital channels, including peer-to-peer emails, student testimonials and features that highlight the student experience. Create and maintain communication templates, forms, portals and related CRM content within Technolutions Slate in alignment with university brand standards. Provide graphic design support and/or collaborate with the university's central communications and marketing team to develop communications collateral. Analyze communication performance using Slate, Google Analytics and related platforms to inform strategy and improve effectiveness.
