Maintenance Technician I - Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Support and service of production lines within the facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance of production line equipment.
• Seasonal external facility maintenance.
• Waste management and simple routine facility maintenance.
• Identifying parts and materials needed to perform duties.
• Maintenance of 5S program.
• Maintaining compliance with training programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0-3 years of experience, or related instruction in maintaining industrial equipment, automation or product repair.
• Ability to effectively communicate across departments.
• Ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
• Ability to safely and proficiently perform maintenance and related activities of equipment, building, and grounds.
• Ability to prioritize daily and weekly work assignments as needed.
• Demonstrated knowledge in OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO and NEC.
• PIV training and certification.
• Airial lift training and certification.
• Knowledge of basic PC functions including Windows knowledge.

Pay Rate: $22.10/hour Job Summary: Following established process and procedures, the Maintenance Technician is expected to perform emergency, routine and preventive maintenance on all production and building equipment while maintaining safety and communicating effectively. This position is responsible for daily problem solving and for the repair of robotic, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical or small outdoor power equipment that is associated with manufacturing and facility infrastructure (where applicable).
