Airfield Manager

About the role

You will serve as a AIRFIELD MANAGER (AFM) in the Air Operation Department of PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing technical expertise in the management of Airfield pavement design and inspection procedures; 2) Assisting in administrative processes, and developing policies with airfield support activities; 3) Providing both in the air and on the ground services to support operations for foreign military/government aircraft operations. 4) Establishing procedures for airfield safety procedures and restrictions on airfields. **NOTE: This experience must be fully demonstrated in your resume to be considered for this position.** Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
