Job Overview We are looking for a Game Designer focused on meta-game and systemic design to help shape engaging long-term player experiences in a live-service, AAA console environment. You will translate high-level game vision into structured, playable systems that drive retention, competition, and meaningful progression across the player journey. This role sits at the intersection of design, data, and live operations. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining core meta systems such as progression, matchmaking, ranking, and player economy-ensuring they work cohesively with moment-to-moment gameplay and overall product vision. What will you do? Design, implement, and maintain meta-game and economic systems, such as multiplayer matchmaking, ranking systems, progression, etc.; Assess player needs and find opportunities for improving the player experience in whichever ways are most impactful outside of the game; Conceptualize and create detailed game design documentation; Work collaboratively with the Game Director and Design Team to deliver a thrilling, high-quality product. What are we looking for? Experience as a Game Designer of products with successful releases ; Experience designing progression, matchmaking, or social systems; Game design experience on live service/games-as-a-service titles in the midcore/hardcore action game sphere; Strong communication skills; A progressive critical thinker who can develop solutions to overcome the obstacles and challenges that come with new game development. Work mode Hybrid (3 days of work from the office). This role is eligible for relocation & immigration support.
