Job Responsibilities The role of Tech Hardware Asset Management Analyst provides operational and analytical support across Tech asset lifecycle management and vendor operations. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and control of all end-user devices, including laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and handheld/scanning devices. Working with moderate complexity, the analyst supports inventory management, audit activities, and data reconciliation across systems, while ensuring alignment with financial records and compliance requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage activities across geographically distributed teams, and an automation-first mindset to continuously improve processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance data integrity. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Support the end-to-end IT asset lifecycle (procurement, deployment, tracking, recovery, and disposal) across all end-user devices, including laptops, mobile phones, tablets (iPads), and handheld/scanning devices Maintain and validate asset and vendor data across systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with Finance records Perform data reconciliation between IT systems, vendor records, and financial data, identifying and resolving discrepancies Coordinate and manage inventory audits across geographically distributed teams, ensuring: Audits are completed in line with defined schedules Activities are tracked and evidenced through ticket-based workflows Discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved Support SOX compliance and audit readiness by maintaining accurate, traceable records and ensuring appropriate documentation, audit trails, and controls are followed Support asset recovery, return, and disposal activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external requirements Produce and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reporting (inventory, utilization, audit status, refresh cycles, financial tracking) Analyze asset and vendor data to identify trends, risks, and cost optimization opportunities Support vendor operations through data analysis, documentation review, and issue tracking/resolution Apply an automation-first approach by identifying opportunities to streamline and improve processes (e.g. reporting, audit tracking, data validation) using existing tools and workflows Support end-user device lifecycle activities, ensuring consistent and efficient user experience Proactively manage workload and priorities to meet service expectations and deadlines Escalate data integrity issues, control gaps, or process risks to management as appropriate QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 3-5 years' experience in IT asset management, vendor operations, procurement support, or business operations Experience supporting inventory management, audits, or compliance processes Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy Proficiency in Excel / spreadsheets and familiarity with enterprise systems Experience with ticketing or workflow tools (e.g. ServiceNow) preferred Exposure to SOX controls or regulated environments preferred Experience with process improvement or automation tools (e.g. Power Automate, RPA, scripting)
