About the role

You will serve as an ELECTRONICS ENGINEER in the ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT (N7) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Professional level electronics engineering experience applying electronics/electrical engineering principles, practices, and skills to the design, acquisition, modification, integration, installation, testing, evaluation, and turnover to operational personnel of complex electronic systems/components supporting oceanographic mission survey systems. Experience in execution and leadership with electronics engineering efforts for shipboard mission systems or autonomous vehicles. Experience managing acquisition and maintenance programs for state-of-the-art shipboard instrumentation systems, data acquisition systems, data processing systems, or autonomous vehicles.
