Job Summary We are looking for Principal Solution Architect to join our team, working within our agile teams focusing on design, impact analysis and outcome of our solutions. Our Principal Solution Architects interface heavily with our Enterprise Architects protecting outcome and estimates and adhering and contributing to the overall agreed strategy, standards and guidelines. Our Solution Architects also create tech interest, generating "buzz" about the latest developments from a technical perspective and applicability in their domain. As the Principle of the data solution architecture team, you will lead your team to deploy our data architecture strategy. Job Responsibilities Ensure technological performance by design, right-sizing, scalability and reliability Ensure that architectural standards and best practices are followed Ensure the Definition of Done is followed at technical level Analyze technical trade-offs Contribute to the scope definition Define non-functional requirements Contribute to the Definition of Done definition Guardian of the services' security and performance. Support the team during significant technological changes Contribute decisively to the definition of reference architectures and standards Detect weaknesses and failure points within the solutions and propose improvements Key figure for the reduction of technical debt and technological evolution Participate and drive keeping technical documentation up to date Collaborate in defining the technical and functional monitoring Negotiate with the product leads the prioritization of those initiatives that are considered important for our technological evolution. Advocate of new technological features Required Skills Experienced in software or platform design and experience in E2E architecture solutions Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or a related degree. Experience designing and implementing Architectures using different database and cache types and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Redis, Postgres or alternatives Experience working in hybrid-cloud environments including AWS and/or GCP Experience designing and implementing Distributed Systems Knowledge of continuous delivery processes and tools Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish Technical reference and leadership abilities Strong technical, logical, analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and influencing skills Team player with an agile mind-set Able to work under pressure and with shifting priorities Ability to think outside the box, multi-task and efficiently managing time Good learning attitude
