Licensed Practical Nurse - Extendicare Vulcan

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, review and evaluate resident care plans
• Provide leadership to personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their work
• Assist in orienting and training new team members

• Current registration with provincial College of Nurses
• Compassion, professionalism, and respect
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Ensure resident care is provided with established nursing standards and principles
• Observe, report and record vital signs, symptoms and conditions of residents, and initiate remedial health measures where appropriate.
