Job Title: Drafter - Planning & Elevation Layouts (UK-Based Experience) 📍 Location: Remote (preferably UK time zone availability) 📝 Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter with strong UK-based experience to create precise planning drawings, floor plans, elevations, and layout sections. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for maximizing space, translating concepts into workable plans, and communicating directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and compliance with UK building standards. 💼 Key Responsibilities: Produce planning drawings including floor plans, elevations, and layout sections. Interpret client requirements and translate conceptual ideas into detailed technical drawings. Optimize spatial arrangements with architectural efficiency. Ensure drawings meet UK planning and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with engineers and project managers for design integrity. Communicate professionally with clients via email regarding project revisions and updates. Adjust layouts based on feedback to meet aesthetic and functional requirements. 🎯 Qualifications: Proven experience drafting for UK-based companies or clients. Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu is a plus. Strong understanding of UK building codes, planning permission processes, and elevation standards. Background in architectural or structural drafting (e.g., experience with residential and commercial projects). Excellent spatial planning and layout optimization skills. Ability to work independently and manage client communication effectively. Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving ability. 📆 Schedule: Must be available to work 9 AM - 5 PM UK time
