We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the go-to-market strategy for Apify Store. You'll focus on the user side: how users find Apify Store, pick the right Actor, run it, and come back. You've run and improved an e-commerce shop, marketplace, or app store, and you want to apply that thinking to a marketplace of AI and web scraping tools. What you'll be working on: Owning the communication strategy for Apify Store - messaging, positioning, and campaigns. Working with Product on how users find Apify Store, choose an Actor, and become active users. Working with the Discovery team to improve how users find the right Actor - through search, categories, featured placements, and recommendations. Bringing user and market feedback directly into product decisions. Planning and running marketing campaigns for the Apify Store homepage and launches - covering Store features, high-profile Actors, and promotion of the Apify platform . Working with the other PMMs so Apify Store reads as a coherent product rather than a list of separate launches. Owning the marketing of Store collections - groups of Actors organized around a specific user problem or use case, so users go from "I need something for X" to running an Actor in minutes. Understanding what users come to Apify Store to do, what gets in their way, and why they pick one Actor over another. Turning that into messaging, positioning, and marketing content per user persona and use case. Defining, measuring, and reporting on the metrics for Apify Store marketing: user sign-ups, activation, trial-to-paid conversion, retention, and Store-level growth . Watching competing platforms and app stores. Turning what you learn into concrete recommendations for Apify Store, and keeping internal teams in the loop on how Apify Store is performing and where it sits in the market. Who we're looking for: 5+ years in product marketing or a related user-side role, ideally where you've owned a chunk of the funnel. You've grown an e-commerce shop, marketplace, or app store , and you know how to improve the numbers that matter: discovery, conversion, retention, and repeat purchase. You can take a marketplace apart and see what makes individual products sell, then turn that into campaigns that help users find and start using the right Actors. You turn data into clear next actions. You know which metrics matter for marketplace growth, how to set up the right tracking, and you've built reporting frameworks before. You pick the small number of things that will move Apify Store's growth, and ship them. You can run several campaigns at once, and you work well with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Developer Relations. You write and speak English clearly and confidently. Familiarity with web scraping, automation, AI agents, or API products is a strong plus. By the end of the first three months, we expect you to: You'll start as a senior individual contributor (IC) working with the Apify Store and Discovery teams. Your first job is to understand how users reach Apify Store, what they're trying to get done, and what stands between them and running an Actor successfully. You'll be talking to people across the company constantly, so we'd like you to spend most of your onboarding in the Prague office to meet everyone in person. Understand Apify Store end-to-end: how it works, how users move from landing on Apify Store to running an Actor, and which Actors they're actually trying and paying for. Run a competitive analysis of relevant marketplaces, app stores, and integration platforms , focused on how they drive user discovery, trust, and sign-ups. Come back with a clear view of what Apify Store does better, what's missing, and what to copy. Research Apify Store users : how they find Actors, what they're trying to solve, how they pick between options, and why they do or don't sign up. Talk to a smaller set of Actor developers and publishers for context on how supply shapes the user experience. Map which channels actually drive users to Apify Store, to trying an Actor, and to becoming active . Propose new channels worth testing, with data to back them up. Ship one or two early campaigns to increase Apify Store visibility, help users find the right Actor, and move them from trial to paid.
