Tool Control Program Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a TOOL CONTROL PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the INDUSTL SUPPLY DIV, MRO LOGISTICS DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Incorporating working knowledge of Tool Control & Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP). 2) Advising on tool procurement processes, including approval of new tools and coordination with the Calibration Lab Coordinator, while monitoring budget expenditures. 3) Overseeing the acquisition, storage, issuance, of tools, ensuring proper marking inventory management systems for tool accountability and loss prevention are in place. 4) Conducting proper tool control training for Depot-Level Aircraft and Component personnel, addressing importance of tool control. 5) Performing spot checks to ensure MRO-L and MRO-P personnel are in compliance with established instructions and directives.
