About the role
You will serve as a TOOL CONTROL PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the INDUSTL SUPPLY DIV, MRO LOGISTICS DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Incorporating working knowledge of Tool Control & Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP). 2) Advising on tool procurement processes, including approval of new tools and coordination with the Calibration Lab Coordinator, while monitoring budget expenditures. 3) Overseeing the acquisition, storage, issuance, of tools, ensuring proper marking inventory management systems for tool accountability and loss prevention are in place. 4) Conducting proper tool control training for Depot-Level Aircraft and Component personnel, addressing importance of tool control. 5) Performing spot checks to ensure MRO-L and MRO-P personnel are in compliance with established instructions and directives.
