MS PowerApps Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Apps Specialist to design, develop, and optimize business applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools - particularly Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience translating business needs into functional, scalable low-code solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven). Develop and automate workflows and integrations using Power Automate. Create and manage data connections, including SharePoint, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, SQL, and other data sources. Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and transform them into effective app solutions. Maintain and optimize existing Power Platform solutions for performance and usability. Ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance policies within the Power Platform environment. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including app architecture, workflows, and configurations. Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Proficient with Dataverse, SharePoint, and Power Fx formulas. Experience integrating Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 tools and third-party APIs. Strong understanding of data modeling, security roles, and app lifecycle management. Knowledge of Azure services, Dynamics 365, and Power Virtual Agents is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills Preferred Skills Microsoft Power Platform certification (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, or PL-400) Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
