As a Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist, you will support the compliant, efficient, and timely international movement of parts, components, and technical documentation across our aerospace organization. You will manage daily import/export and trade compliance activities, helping ensure customs documentation is accurate, customs clearance is completed smoothly, and all transactions comply with applicable export control and sanctions requirements. You will partner closely with Internal Trade Compliance (ITC), Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, and external brokers/forwarders to minimize operational disruptions and support on-time delivery. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Support import/export and customs compliance activities in a regulated aerospace and industrial environment Assist the governance process development Coordinate with brokers, forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipment issues Support restricted party screening and license administration Contribute to KPI reporting, data accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure ongoing monitoring of customs and import/export regulatory updates, while developing and maintaining related internal procedures Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Law or Engineering Proven experience in customs, import/export, logistics, trade compliance, or supply chain Knowledge of customs processes and international trade documentation Experience with EU customs/export control regulations is a plus Fluent English Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work across functions in a fast-paced environment High integrity, learning agility, and a proactive mind Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
