Employee Contract Type: Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term) Job Description: Provides overall leadership, technical expertise and effective management through the Livelihood & Resilience Unit, to ensure Wahana Visi Indonesia's strategic ministry objectives and Child Result are achieved with the highest quality and accountability in a way that reflects World Vision's core values, mission and strategic directions; this includes for Emergency Response situations. Maintain and enhance the role and positioning of Wahana Visi Indonesia in advocating for and responding to Livelihood & Resilience needs in Indonesia aligned with national strategy. The Livelihood & Resilience Manager will engage externally to position WVI as a trusted partner. S/he will represent Wahana Visi Indonesia externally with a variety of stakeholders. The position integrates key technical areas including food security, climate-resilient agriculture, climate change adaptation, market-based programming, financial literacy, and youth economic empowerment, ensuring alignment with World Vision's (partnership) global strategy and national priorities. S/he will working closely with Specialist in WV Global/Regional/National level, other sectors to strengthen integrated approaches to achieve outcomes, ensuring quality monitoring and evaluation of Livelihood programming and demonstrating evidence of impact. Engage proactively, strategically and technically in acquisition of sustainable funding and resources for an impactful Livelihood & Resilience program. This position together with the acquisition team will also lead proposal development writing for funding acquisition in Livelihood & Resilience sector. All staff are expected to contribute to Wahana Visi Indonesia's core approaches-Transformational Development, Advocacy, and Emergency Response. During emergencies, this role may be required to support organizational readiness and response efforts, ensuring timely, coordinated, and accountable delivery of assistance in line with established systems and standards. Strategy Development & Planning Ensure Livelihood & Resilience Programmes contribute to child-wellbeing outcomes, reach the Most Vulnerable Children, and are delivered through integrated and sectoral programming that is of high-level quality and accountability. Incorporate data effectively from the landscape analysis and other Livelihood & Resilience guidance into the development of the National Strategy and Integrated approach for Livelihood & Resilience, ensuring alignment with relevant references, guidance and policies including Government of Indonesia development plans. Lead the development of a logical framework to guide the achievement of design programme objectives. Gather feedback from a wide range of Livelihood and other sector staff on the Livelihood components of the office's National Strategy and the Integrated approach to ensure technical quality and points of collaboration between sectors. Facilitate identification and selection of core Livelihood project models and additional approaches for programming relevant to the context and root causes of violence. Develop Livelihood advocacy strategy that aligned to partnership and national strategy Resource Acquisition, Networking & Coordination Ensure collaboration with Acquisition Team in project proposal development that related with Livelihood & Resilience issues. With Acquisition Team lead technical writing of project proposal to ensure technical rigors and project viability. Maintain and enhance good relations including involvement in meeting with government donors, supporters, and Wahana Visi support offices, especially in relation to Livelihood & Resilience issues Ensure that Wahana Visi Indonesia maintains and enhances good relations with the Ministry of Livelihood & Resilience, other government Livelihood & Resilience institutions at national level, as well as Provincial authorities and others. Contribute to WVIDN's advocacy efforts at local and national level on Livelihood & Resilience-related issues with the government, public, corporate, partners, supporters, etc. Build and maintain good relationship with Regional Office, Global Centre and other Field Offices in WV Partnership. Capacity Building Equip the Program(s) capacity to be able to identify Livelihood & Resilience as a project goal within log frame through trainings, awareness raising, communications, etc. Provide technical support to Program(s) in evaluation of Livelihood & Resilience program, include interpretation and use of data.
