This is a fantastic opportunity to spend your summer helping children learn, play, and make lasting memories through a variety of exciting activities. From sports and team games to arts & crafts and creative play, no two days are the same. ๐Ÿ•’ Working Hours School Holidays Only Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30 Summer Dates Available ๐Ÿ“… 20 July - 2 September 2026 There are also opportunities to work during future school holidays throughout the year (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays). As a Holiday Club Playworker, you'll help deliver engaging activities, support children's development through play, and create an environment where every child feels included, valued, and encouraged to thrive. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being active, creative, and making a positive difference every day. ๐ŸŒˆ Key Responsibilities Deliver fun, engaging, and inclusive activities for children Support a variety of sessions including sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play Create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment Support children throughout the day, including arrivals and collections Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company procedures at all times Prepare and provide refreshments while maintaining hygiene standards Assist with setting up and packing away equipment and activity areas Complete accident, incident, and activity records where required Communicate professionally with children, parents, schools, and colleagues Promote positive behaviour and encourage participation โญ What We're Looking For Previous experience working with children (desirable) A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, responsible, and able to follow procedures The ability to create a fun and safe environment for children Energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for childcare and playwork This role may also suit candidates with experience as a: Playworker Childcare Assistant Activity Leader Sports Coach Teaching Assistant Youth Worker ๐ŸŽ What's in it for You?
