Agent & Broker Product Owner

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in product management or product ownership roles.
• At least 5+ years of experience in insurance, financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
• Demonstrated experience working on agent and broker platforms, portals, or marketplace ecosystems.
• Proven experience supporting government or federal IT contracting environments.
• Strong experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and Agile delivery processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capability.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and collaboration.
• Comfortable engaging directly with senior stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience writing detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and enterprise digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum required; SAFe preferred).
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Agent and Broker Product Owner to support a government program focused on delivering secure, scalable, and user-centered digital solutions for the Agent and Broker (AB) ecosystem. This role is responsible for driving product vision, managing priorities, and ensuring successful delivery of enhancements and features aligned to mission and regulatory requirements. The Product Owner will act as a key bridge between the business units performing workflows in support of the AB ecosystem and the technical delivery team who will be building tools to support the current workflows, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and executed effectively within an agile environment.
