Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, plus repairs on engines, chassis, body components, hydraulic cylinders, brake systems, suspension systems, cooling systems, wheels, and tires.

  • Follow corporate and OSHA standards for a clean, safe work area.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
  • Tool set, tool box, and proper personal safety equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn diagnostic software.
  • Class B CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Welding experience is a plus.

San Luis Garbage , a Waste Connections company, is now hiring for a safety conscious Diesel Mechanic to join the team at our Hauling location in San Luis Obispo, CA! Pay Range: $32.00 - $43.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday Tuesday-Thursday: 1pm-9:30pm Friday: 12pm-8:30pm Saturday: 6am-2:30pm Why Work With Us?
