Job Description : Global Supply Chain Data Analyst (Temporary) Huntsman is seeking a Global Supply Chain Data Analyst supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in San Jose, Costa Rica. This position will report to the Sr. Manager - Supply Chain Excellence & Digital Transformation. Job Scope The Supply Chain Data Analyst will develop innovative analytical approaches to support Huntsman's supply chain operations and strategy. This role will design, develop, implement, and roll out advanced data analytics tools for planning and scheduling, inventory management, demand planning, statistical forecasting, cost-to-serve analysis, and various other data analysis solutions in support of Huntsman supply chain management processes. This includes requirements gathering, definition, solution development construction with Huntsman-supported software packages, and support of key users. The Supply Chain Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional groups to enhance analytical capabilities, identify business opportunities, and quantify the impact of strategic projects. This role involves interacting with cross-functional teams, mentoring employees, and communicating with global senior management. In summary, as the Global Supply Chain Data Analyst (Temporary) , you will: - Update and support reporting systems, primarily via Power BI, used for data analytics and to present the results of plans, schedules, and KPIs to respective regions, businesses, and/or functions. - Design, build, configure, test, debug, and maintain various reports and dashboards. - Acquire a deep understanding of business problems and translate them into appropriate mathematical depictions. - Collect, cleanse, and understand complex data sources to enable proper analytical analysis, building data pipelines to support modeling and operational needs. - Manage special projects, pilots, proof of concepts, and ad-hoc project work. - Participate in the evaluation, intake, design, and integration strategy between multiple supply chain functions and data sources. - Support Celonis Process Mining models to facilitate visualization of process flows, identification of process bottlenecks, and streamlining process efficiencies through alerts and automated actions (via use of bots). - Collaborate with various business departments or cross-functional teams for process alignment, best practice sharing, data analysis, design, report preparation, and support decision-making. - Identify appropriate data-driven analytics from use case concept through design to industrialization/deployment to end users. - Develop professional presentations appropriate for their intended audience. - Create compelling interactive visualizations and presentations to enhance decision-making capabilities throughout the company. - Gather data from various supply chain and financial systems. - Analyze trends, patterns, and anomalies in global supply chain performance. - Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. - Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Excel. - Present insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format. - Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency. - Work cross-functionally with various business departments and IT teams. - Support global initiatives such as inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and financial impact analysis. - Participate in strategic planning and scenario modeling. - Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations. - Identify and assess risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies.
