Manager - Real Estate Accounting Location: London (Hybrid - 4 days office) Salary: £80,000 - £95,000 + Bonus + Benefits We are partnering with a leading and highly regarded real estate investment platform seeking an experienced Manager - Real Estate Accounting to take ownership of a sizeable accounting function and lead a high-performing team. This is a pivotal leadership role suited to an individual with strong technical accounting expertise across real estate structures, combined with proven experience managing and developing teams within a fast-paced investment environment. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounting and reporting processes across a portfolio of real estate assets and structures, while managing a team of up to 15 professionals. Key responsibilities include: Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants Overseeing fund and SPV accounting across complex real estate structures Reviewing and approving financial statements, management accounts, and investor reporting Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of month-end and quarter-end close processes Acting as a key point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders Driving process improvements, controls, and operational efficiencies across the function Supporting senior leadership with strategic reporting and business insights The Candidate ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Significant experience within real estate, private equity, or fund accounting environments Proven team management experience, ideally overseeing teams of 8-15 individuals Strong technical understanding of UK GAAP / IFRS within real estate structures Experience working with complex SPVs, joint ventures, and multi-entity structures Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at senior level Highly organised with a proactive and solutions-driven approach The Opportunity This role offers the chance to step into a senior leadership position within a well-established and growing real estate platform, with clear visibility to senior management and genuine scope to shape and improve the function.
