This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in building a career as a qualified electrician within a leading international M&E contractor. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will gain practical, hands-on experience working alongside qualified electricians and experienced site teams. You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship as you develop the technical knowledge, site experience and professional behaviours required to become a fully qualified electrician. You may have the opportunity to work across a range of project environments, including pharmaceutical, commercial, industrial and data centre projects. Key Responsibilities As an Electrical Apprentice, you will: Work under the guidance and supervision of qualified electricians and site supervisors. Support the installation, testing and maintenance of electrical systems. Attend and complete all required on-the-job and off-the-job apprenticeship training. Follow Designer Group's health and safety procedures, site rules and company standards. Carry out tasks as directed by supervisors, mentors and managers. Develop your technical skills, practical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems. Maintain good timekeeping, attendance and professionalism. Take feedback positively and use it to support your development. Work as part of a team while building confidence and independence over time. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Completed the Irish Leaving Certificate. Passed Ordinary Level Maths in the Leaving Certificate. A genuine interest in electrical work, engineering, construction or building services. A strong willingness to learn and develop. Good attention to detail. A reliable, hard-working and positive attitude. Good communication skills. A commitment to safety and following procedures.
