Responsibilities

  • Support the Corporate Actions team across EMEA markets, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-controlled processing of events.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving dividend and coupon breaks, including reviewing and helping resolve payable and receivable claims.
  • Monitor incoming claims and escalate matters appropriately to senior team members where needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Internship or placement experience in financial services is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong academic performance with a demonstrated interest in financial markets and operations.
  • Basic or foundational understanding of financial products and trade lifecycle concepts is preferred, though not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools..
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues thoughtfully and apply sound judgment.
  • High attention to detail, effective time management, and a clear sense of ownership and accountability when handling tasks and transactions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, learning agility, and awareness of controls, escalation protocols, and operational processes;
  • Familiarity with SWIFT messages, wire payments, and SSI setup would be an advantage.
