About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (YPG), with a duty location of Yuma Proving Ground, AZ. (merit) Serve as a Traffic Management Specialist in the YPG (ATEC) Logistics Management Division to ensure efficient, responsive and quality transportation services for YPG (ATEC) command elements, test centers and activities within the assigned geographic areas of responsibility. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Coordinating the movement of materials or equipment to support organizational operations; and 2) Evaluating regulations to ensure program compliance; and/or 3) Formulating cost estimates and reporting for logistical operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget Administration Oral Communication Physical Distribution / Transportation Operations Planning and Evaluating Writing Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent GS-11.
