Job OverviewWe are seeking a Mechanical Designer with strong technical expertise, leadership potential, and customer-focused skills to support the Engine Cooling Fan (ECF) product line within the PS-TS portfolio. The successful candidate will play a key role in design, validation, and global collaboration, with a clear path toward transitioning into a Lead Engineer role.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development: Experience in NX (Unigraphics) for cooling fan design, shroud integration, and system packaging; apply DFMEA, DVP&R, and design validation methodologies.Thermal & Aerodynamic Analysis: Apply knowledge of heat transfer, airflow optimization, CFD, and FEA to ensure performance, durability, and NVH reduction.Material & Manufacturing Expertise: Select appropriate materials and support manufacturing processes including injection molding, die casting, and assembly.Testing & Validation: Conduct vibration analysis, endurance testing, and ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949 and SAE standards.Data Management: Maintain structured data within Teamcenter, including CAD organization, file naming conventions, and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.Leadership & Team Management: Lead cross-functional engineering teams, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with global colleagues, including transition support from Germany-based lead engineer.Customer Interaction: Address customer queries, provide technical support, and ensure alignment with OEM requirements.Project Management: Manage timelines, supplier coordination, and oversee product lifecycle from concept to production.Problem-Solving & Innovation: Diagnose cooling inefficiencies, propose corrective actions, and drive innovative solutions.
