Responsibilities
- The position will provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities across the enterprise
- Conduct secure equipment (e.g., secure telephones and encryption devices) and classified keying material inventories, inspections and other COMSEC related support and oversight functions
- Administer a Top-Secret inventory and document control program to account for COMSEC equipment and materials.

- Maintaining internal security databases and other records (e.g. COMSEC, security incidents, etc.)

- What You Need to be Successful
- Minimum Requirements for Security Specialist III- COMSEC:
- High School Diploma and a minimum of 2-3 years experience with COMSEC
- Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph
- Experience with NISP and/or SCI
- Experience with the following NSA Type-I Encryption Devices: KG-175's, KG-185, KIV-7, KG-250's, Omni, DTD, SDS, VIPERs and Secure Terminal Equipment (STE) with KSV-21
- Knowledge of NSA/CSS 3-16 and standard COMSEC tasks (i.e., updating DIAS, COMSEC briefings, inventories, reporting COMSEC incidents, loading key material)
- Must complete COMSEC Manager's course within 6 months of starting
- I n addition to the above, the minimum requ irements for Security Specialist IV- COMSEC include :
- High School Diploma and a minimum of 3-5 years experience with COMSEC
- Proven track record in COMSEC audits, inspections, and compliance activities
