Finance Executive

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Finance Executive to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in day-to-day financial operations, monthly closing activities, and ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements. Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing
• Perform monthly closing activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting (including Bank Reconciliations, Profit & Loss Statement, and Statement of Financial Position management).
• Prepare journal entries and general ledger transactions.
• Assist with overall financial reporting and serve as a key point of contact for coordinating with external auditors.
• Tax & Compliance
• Support financial and tax accounting processes to ensure strict compliance with local Singapore regulations (including GST, corporate tax, and statutory audit filings).
• Operations & Cash Management
• Manage daily cash flow and handle general banking matters.
• Handle, verify, and process employee travel claims in accordance with company travel policies.
• Ad-Hoc Projects
• Involved in ad-hoc admin projects as and when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Job Requirements
• Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Diploma in Accounting, partial/full ACCA qualification, or equivalent.
• Experience: 0 to 5 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with strong accounting fundamentals are highly welcome to apply.
• Residency: Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) preferred.
• Technical Skills & Competencies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
• Basic SAP knowledge.
• Strong understanding of local GST and Singapore financial reporting standards.
• Soft Skills & Language Proficiency
• Language: Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written) is required to communicate and collaborate effectively with our regional counterparts.
• Work Style: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Attributes: High level of integrity, detail-oriented, organised, and proactive.
