About the role
The Food Service Supervisor provides oversight and direction to teams responsible for patient/resident, retail, and catering services (as applicable). They coordinate and lead, in conjunction with others on the department management team, to ensure that all meals are prepared and served in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines as well as meeting therapeutic nutritional guidelines. Requirements
- Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
- 2 years Healthcare or hospitality food service experience (Required)
- Licenses and Certifications
- Allergen Awareness Certification - VA State - ANSI-approved Allergen Awareness certificate program within 180 Days(Required)
- Food Protection Manager - VA State - ANSI approved Food Protection Manager Certification - VA State within 180 Days(Required)
- Certified Dietary Manager Certified Food Protection Manager (CDM CFPP) - Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP) (Preferred)
