Project Director / Deputy Project Director Background Our client is an esteemed regional MNC in Construction industry. Well-established over decades with solid reputation. Their large variety of projects covers public and private sectors, across building, civil and/or infrastructure segments. They are looking for astute Project Director and Deputy Project Director with strong on-site track record in Building or Civil Infrastructure construction projects. The Position The Project Director or Deputy Project Director is responsible for leading the project team to complete projects on time, within budget and meeting quality parameters in line with the standards and expectations of client and relevant authorities. A summary of the generic responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows: Project leadership and stakeholder management. Provide technical expertise as required on project. Responsible for managing and positively developing relationships between Company & Client(s). Line Management of employees and driving employees' productivity and performance. Responsible for managing job profitability of assigned projects. Guidance on team in project works in terms of quality and safety standards. Monitor and ensure that site progress is in accordance to master programme with no delay in works and proper work sequencing. Efficient management of resources and materials. Excellent client facing with strong people orientation and ability to build and develop positive relations with authorities & consultants. Possess strong skill in developing and delivering effective communication to different audiences. Able to lead and inspire high performance, to ensure project plans are implemented on a timely, efficient and effective basis. Adherence to safety practices in the work place. Qualifications and Key Requirements Education: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from recognized universities Minimum 15-20 years of experience in delivering projects within large-scale A1 construction maincontractor organizations Strong on-site track record in Building or Civil Infrastructure. Preference for large-scale LTA MRT or Commercial Building projects of Contract Sums above SGD300Million. Technical Competencies Technical expertise and knowledge in Civil / Structural Design and Constructability Administration with established experience and proven ability to deliver projects Proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects from start to hand-over Extensive experience within a construction environment demonstrating accountability and ability to meet commitments through key internal stakeholders, clients and staff at all levels Microsoft office skills and in particular, use of Microsoft Project If you have suitable experience and track record, please submit a copy of your updated resume with relevant details to enquiries@bac-pl.com .
