DATA SCIENTIST - RURAL HEALTH PROGRAM Leads advanced analytics, modeling, and data strategy activities supporting statewide rural health transformation initiatives. Develops predictive and prescriptive analytics to inform program strategy, provider performance improvement, and decision-making. Designs and implements statistical models, machine learning approaches, and advanced analytical frameworks to assess provider performance, identify trends, and generate actionable insights. Supports development of performance metrics related to access, quality, financial sustainability, and workforce stability. Collaborates with data, technical assistance, and program teams to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights for state leadership and provider audiences. Develops dashboards, analytical tools, and visualization products to support program monitoring and reporting. Supports integration and management of multiple data sources, including program data, claims, operational metrics, and external datasets. Ensures data quality, consistency, and alignment with reporting requirements. Provides technical guidance on data governance, analytics methodologies, and interpretation of results. Supports development of analytical documentation and contributes to audit-ready reporting environments. Up to 25% travel may be required.
