Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the architecture of a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform, including services, APIs, data, integrations, and AI/ML capabilities.
  • Identify architectural risks related to scalability, availability, security, data residency, and disaster recovery, and define platform-wide mitigation patterns.
  • Establish and maintain architecture reference designs, technical standards, and reusable blueprints used across engineering teams.

  • Define and apply integration patterns and onboarding standards for third-party and partner ecosystems, ensuring security, resiliency, and data sovereignty.
  • Provide hands-on architectural guidance by participating in design reviews, mentoring engineers, and partnering with Product, Security, and Customer teams
  • Produce clear architecture documentation and communicate technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or platform engineering, with significant experience designing production SaaS platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Azure services (e.g., AKS, Cosmos DB, Synapse, Service Bus, Redis, APIM, Entra ID) and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Strong experience designing multi-tenant data architectures with tenant isolation, governance, encryption, and compliance requirements.
  • Solid understanding of identity, security, and authentication standards - including OIDC, OAuth 2.0, RBAC, encryption, and key management
  • Ability to produce high-quality architecture documentation and communicate technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree or relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
