Assistant Operations Executive 1 (Base Operations)

About the role

Candidates are expected to:- Take lead in planning and deployment of marine resources; Take lead in enforcing marine crew discipline; Perform compliance checks to ensure personnel and safety at the base and onboard craft; Arrange for daily diesel orders and attend to bunker deliveries; Coordinate with Fleet Engineering team on the repair and maintenance status of harbour crafts and equipment; Update daily records of craft movements, deployment, and craft breakdowns; Perform regular checks and surveys on the status and upkeep of base equipment; and Assist Section Managers in operational assignments and projects. The ideal candidate should preferably:- Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Marine) / Maritime Business / Business / Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Have good communication and interpersonal skills; Be able to remain calm and make logical decisions under stress and emergency situations; Be proficient in using computer and mobile device applications/systems; Be proficient in MS Office; and Be willing to perform shift work (Candidates will be entitled to shift and applicable allowances). *Monthly salary advertised is basic salary. Monthly gross salary includes shift, special transport, and meal allowances, where applicable. *New hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to S$3,500. Terms and conditions apply.
