Liquid Personnel is recruiting an enthusiastic Senior / Supervising Social Worker to join the passionate team of an 'Outstanding' rated Independent Fostering Agency based in Nottingham. This unique organisation is one of the UK's only IFAs specialising in cultural and faith‑based fostering placements, supporting children and young people with specific religious or cultural needs to be matched with foster carers who share their values and identity. The role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time working, with responsibility for managing a caseload of foster carers primarily across the West Midlands, alongside occasional travel to areas such as the East Midlands, Yorkshire and Blackburn. The position also offers an attractive benefits package, including a company car or £2,000 car allowance and 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with length of service. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will: Support and supervise foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children and young people in foster care. Monitor the continued suitability and competence of foster parents, ensuring they provide a safe, healthy, nurturing, and learning environment. Work with foster parents to ensure they fully understand the fostering task, competencies, and expected standards, including internal policies and procedures. Provide and record regular supervision to foster parents in line with operational standards. Work in partnership with local authorities and other professionals to support children, young people, and foster parents, contributing to all relevant meetings. Ensure each child and foster parent is fully compliant in respect of all key documentation. Promote participation of children/young people in the development of the agency and in accessing resources and opportunities in their local community. Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis. Participate in a day 'duty system' on a rota basis supporting the referrals team.
