Job Overview Responsible for transportation services; receiving incoming/outgoing pick-up calls and scheduling transportation services for the same day. Communicating with PACE centers to coordinate daily transportation for AltaMed patients and participants. Assist with other transportation vendors (e.g., Agape) by facilitating information and back-up service when/if possible. Duties include scheduling, routing, record keeping, and auditing to ensure compliance with AltaMed's policies and procedures. The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring all drivers are commuting back to base at the end of the day once the assignments are completed. The Dispatcher will also ensure compliance with program deadlines and provide support to others as needed. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or GED equivalent, required. Experience in health care, preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in dispatch services. Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, preferred.
