Digital Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Business Analyst to partner with business and technology stakeholders in delivering digital transformation initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technology solutions by driving business analysis, solution design, product delivery, and operational excellence. You will work closely with business users, project managers, solution architects, technical teams, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• You will:
• Business Analysis & Solution Design
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, process mapping, journey mapping, and data analysis.
• Apply Design Thinking and Service Design methodologies to identify business challenges and recommend digital solutions.
• Develop user stories, functional specifications, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate solution options and recommend technologies aligned with enterprise architecture and cloud-first strategies.
• Product Delivery & Project Support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, QA teams, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support Agile product delivery and ensure product readiness for deployment and business adoption.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, release readiness, and user training.
• Assess the impact of business change requests and recommend appropriate enhancements.
• Technical Analysis & Operations
• Analyse system integrations, APIs, data flows, and enterprise application architecture.
• Support the definition and management of non-functional requirements, including performance, security, scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
• Support performance, stress, scalability, security, and vulnerability testing activities.
• Work with technical support teams to troubleshoot production issues and coordinate incident resolution.
• Lead root cause analysis and recommend continuous improvements for production incidents.
• Support critical business operations by coordinating technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to minimise operational risks.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with external vendors to ensure quality delivery and adherence to technical standards.
• Review vendor deliverables and monitor project progress.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve successful project outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Digital Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working on enterprise-scale digital transformation or system implementation projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
