Responsibilities

  • Oversee preparation of work plans and organize project studies to meet scope, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Interface directly with the technical project manager and cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver projects on scope, on schedule, and on budget.
  • Incorporate client requirements, including commercial contract terms, change management processes, and financial performance KPIs.

  • Lead internal coordination and external client communications, including progress reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong Colorado regulatory experience is preferred (e.g., CDPHE programs, Colorado Division of Oil and Public Safety for USTs, and EPA Region 8 interfaces), including permitting, compliance, and agency coordination.
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of relevant environmental remediation experience, and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
  • This role is subject to a background check and motor vehicle records check.
  • Preferred Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in site investigation and remediation.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Professional certification preferred (e.g., PE/PG, Chartered Engineer/Geologist, PMP).
  • Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for diverse audiences.
  • Proven success managing environmental projects for public- and private‑sector clients.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Experience managing teams and scheduling staff/resources for on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
  • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders; ability to support client development in the Colorado market.

We are actively seeking a talented Environmental Remediation Project Manager for our Fort Collins, Colorado office, with internal and external responsibilities across Colorado and the broader Rocky Mountain/Front Range region.
