Description of Work The position will serve the offices and programs located in the Southern half of the Eastern Region. This position ensures that the assigned Community Rehabilitation Programs provide the highest level of services, while maintaining compliance with prevalent rules, regulations, policies, procedures and laws that govern their daily operation. This position will act as the liaison between the agency and the Community Rehabilitation Program. The employee serves as a member of the Regional Management Team. Responsible for the development of new programs in Supported Employment and Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment to meet the needs of the local office. Travel required within catchment area and occasional travel required outside of area. Work is performed independently under the general supervision of the Assistant Regional Director. Duty station will be located in the Eastern Region at the discretion of management and program needs. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Grade Range $55,221 - $96,639 Recruitment Range $55,221 - $76,000 **Position is eligible for a hybrid-teleworking schedule to include weekly onsite work hours** Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: Experience demonstrating knowledge of vocational counseling, planning, and guidance along with the knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to vocational rehabilitation and related services. Thorough knowledge of services available to individuals from private community rehabilitation programs and supported employment vendors. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with Division staff, other state agencies, service providers, stakeholder groups, and various advisory councils. Knowledge of and demonstrated skill with administrative and management principles, vocational rehabilitation program evaluation, and fiscal planning and budgeting. Thorough knowledge of laws and policies related to supported employment services and vocational evaluation/work adjustment services. Physical Requirements: Due to travel requirements within catchment area and occasional travel required outside of area, a valid driver's license is required.
