  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and engineering best practices
  • Experience building and consuming APIs using gRPC and/or REST
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and development
  • Understanding of containerisation and deploying cloud-native applications
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to navigate and understand an existing codebase
  • Interest in the functional side of the product; finance industry knowledge is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive and able to handle multiple workstreams

About this role Full Stack Developer (Associate) - London Engineering Team (Preqin & eFront | BlackRock) Preqin (part of BlackRock) is looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer (Associate) to join our London Engineering Team . In this role, you'll help design, build, and run products across Preqin and eFront , supporting applications used by clients globally. You'll collaborate with a high-performing, international team and work across both the technical and functional layers of the product in a fast-growing Private Markets environment. You'll contribute to delivering scalable, cloud-first solutions using modern engineering practices and technologies including .NET, Azure , and modern web frameworks. Python , AWS and Snowflake experience are a plus.
